Mc Cain must think we're nuts.

Who the heck is John McCain trying to fool?

The "fundamentals of (our) economy (are) strong" he says as another bank collapses only hours earlier. When called on it, he tries to pass off the lame excuse that he meant the American worker as what he was referring to. Then he had the nerve to suggest that any one that complained about his comment was also dissing the American worker.

?!?!

Troopegate

Troopergate. No, not the debunked myth about Bill Clinton using the Arkansas State Troopers as an escort service. Troopergate Alaska style. Don't be fooled. The righties are lying about this too trying to claim this is a partisan attack. Here are some quick facts:

Governor Sarah Palin has been accused of abusing her office in trying to get her ex-brother in law, a State Trooper, fired. She initially welcomed an investigation and promised absolute transparency. A bi-partisan state senate panel voted unanimously to begin an investigation.

Mc Cain surrogates define economic philosophy

Mc Cain being out of touch with the economy is personified, literally by who he hangs out with. It's no secret his campaign staff is a who's who of DC lobbyists. But the kicker is Mitt Romney and Carly Fiorina and Phil Graham.

Obama Right Now

Reasons why Barack Obama is the perfect candidate and future President for right now.

We need a President who can be a diplomat and statesman. Being popular abroad is not a qualification, but it is certainly a benefit if your country has had it's reputation tarnished. As ours has. John Mc Cain can not deliver when it comes to mending fences and returning our reputation.

I've got the lipstick, where's the pig?

Reaching new levels of the absurd the Mc Cain camp is claiming Barack Obama’s use of the term “lipstick on a pig” was a veiled reference to Sarah Palin. He was actually describing Mc Cain’s same as the old boss policies. It’s an accurate description. As Mc Cain goes around the nation claiming he’s going to change something, his record and his policy positions mirror Bush’s.

Can't afford Mc Cain/Palin

John Mc Cain says he will reach to the Democrats to solve America's problems. That's swell. I wish I could believe him, but I'd have to be pretty gullible. John Mc Cain likes to claim he's a maverick that bucks his own party when he feels he should. Also swell. But not as noble as one might think. Over Mc Cain's long Senate career he's had angry and sometimes violent run-ins with colleagues, both Democrat and Republican. He is reviled by both parties, not revered. The notion that Mc Cain can bring people together on anything is a stretch.

RNC, so far a disgraceful circus

The RNC has revealed the party's platform. It's pretty ugly and divisive and doesn't solve a thing.

Mitt Romney called out the Supreme Court out for actually upholding the Constitution. He called them "liberal" gasp! Well at least he admitted that interpreting the Constitution is what liberals do and conservatives like himself don't really care. Palin also mocked our founding document, belittling Miranda rights. These guys still insist terrorism can be fought on a battle field and it has nothing to do with police work. These pillars of morality honestly don't care if others rights are violated as well as tortured. Sick.

The real deal on Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin got herself elected Mayor of a town of 5,000 with a surplus and left it $22 million in the hole. While “reforming” the small town she hired a lobbying firm that got her another $27 million of federal funds with the help of the disgraced and 7 count indicted Senator Ted Stevens. She was for the bridge to nowhere, before she was against it just like her support for Stevens. She was a failure as mayor who came close to being recalled.

Palin a horrible VP choice

Alaska governor Sarah Palin is a social conservative's social conservative. Anti-gay, anti-environment, anti wildlife, anti choice. She has only been a Governor for a couple of years but has already abused her authority. Social conservatives love a politician who is willing to use their position for personal vendetta. She went after her ex-brother in law, a State Trooper, when the head of the police force refused to fire him, he was fired. She is now under investigation. Like so many other social conservatives like Tom Delay and anyone who did business with Jack Abramof. Social conservatives like John Bolton, Harriet Miers, Karl Rove have openly and publicly ignored Congressional Subpoenas. Ah yes. The law and order party seems to be heavily influenced by those who answer to a higher law and feel free to ignore the ones we have here on earth.

God's old party.

The Republican Party considers among it's base some of the worst people; the religious right. The charlatans on the tv, the lunatics on the radio. One such lunatic is James Dobson who suggested his followers pray for rain during Barack Obama's historic speech to be done outdoors before 85,000 people. Instead of celebrating a wonderful chapter in our history. Dobson once again allows his vile dark side bubble up instead. This latest plea echoes those of Fallwell, Hagee, and Robertson. Who at one time or another blamed liberals, secularists and homosexuals for acts of terrorism and acts of God. You'd think, if God was down with these pariahs, he'd answer their prayers.
